Oscar Comics #10 from Timely April 1949 is one of my favorite covers, and perfect for the football season kick off.
Issue contains a public service announcement titled “A Letter to Our Readers and Their Parents!” which was an editorial from Marvel Comic Group editors about critics of comics with list of “Red Unit” and “Blue Unit” Marvel comic titles.
Oscar Comics series continues from Funny Tunes Vol 1 # 23 and ran 13 issues, with issues #11 and 12 being “Awful Oscar.”
